In May 2008 an earthquake hit the Sichuan province in China killing at least 68,000 people destroying buildings, towns and cities and leaving 4.8 million people homeless.
In January 2010 I visited Dujiangyan City the closest city to the epicenter of the earthquake as part of a wider project in the Sichuan province. In the two and a half years since the earthquake a number of temporary re-settlement camps have been built to house refugees whilst new permanent housing is constructed to re-house them in the city.
These images show the people and places of one of the re-settlement camps called Qin Jian Ren Jia Camp, as well as an area called Xin Fu Jia Yuan being built to re-house the homeless in the city.
