Olympic

In 2008 Beijing held the summer Olympics. This was seen as a source of great pride in China and has changed the face of Beijing forever with some of the most iconic buildings in Olympic history being built.

I wanted to visit the site whilst still in construction and document an area changing in front of my eyes, and to observer the reaction that people had to what was happening in their city and country.

Even whilst under construction the Bird's Nest stadium was a source of fascination and interest for the locals with people using whatever means possible to get a photograph or view of the structure.
